Madison and Nick’s engagement sessions was an easy favorite. They are a laid back couple with a classic, elegant vibe. With an appreciation for gorgeous architecture and buzzing energy of the city, downtown Indianapolis was a must for their timeless engagement photos in Indianapolis!

Indianapolis is full of beautiful locations for engagement photos, but my personal favorite spots all fall between St. Clair and New York. (They even made my list for the best places for wedding party photos in Indianapolis.) These five blocks make up the library, mall, Obelisk Square and the Indiana World War Memorial. There are tons of great spots for portraits with a classic look and we made the most of our time here with Madison and Nick.

We managed to schedule their session for one of the last warm days of the year. Hints of the impending fall were all around us. Each time a gentle breeze came by a handful of leaves lightly fell from the nearby trees. Winter was on it’s way. But in that moment? It was only sunshine for Madison and Nick. They bring joy with them wherever they go! We cannot wait for Madison and Nick’s Meridian Hills Wedding this summer!
