Josh and Malia’s summer garden engagement session was such a dream! Newfields was the perfect backdrop for this timeless couple and we adored every minute of it. These high school sweethearts are so in tune with one another so photographing them together was a true joy!

We adore photographing summer garden engagements, especially at Newfields. The way the light falls through the trees illuminating the museum grounds will always be magical to us, especially on camera. So when Malia and Josh selected Newfields as the location for their engagement session, we couldn’t wait!

We spent the early evening exploring the estate grounds that make up the gardens of Newfields. Malia looked incredible in a chic, strapless white gown with the most amazing bow on the back. Josh was handsome in a classic black suit.

As the sun began to set we dashed between all of the best spots at Newfields. From the impressive Lilly Mansion to strolling down tree lined paths, Josh and Malia looked amazing no matter the location. Capturing their summer garden engagement session was easily a highlight of the season and we cannot wait for their wedding at the Ritz Charles next year!
