Myles and Shayla’s Laurel Hall Engagement Session
I’m excited to share Shayla and Myles’s Laurel Hall engagement session with you. But first, we need to back things up a bit.
Everyone tried to get them together. But they insisted that they were just friends. But then one day they decided to give it a shot. Their first date was to the campus library at ISU. Thanks to Shayla’s nursing student status, that’s just the way it had to be. But there in that library, amongst the books and laptops, something sparked that day.
The day they got engaged, Shayla actually spent her morning celebrating another bride! She was a bridesmaid in a friend’s wedding and spent the first half of the day picking out dresses. Little did she know then that she’d soon be picking out her own!
Myles had the proposal all planned out. He even got his little sister in on the deal! After Shayla returned home from dress shopping, he suggested they casually go to Newfields. Casually… right.
Once at Newfields, they made their way to the Lilly House and garden area. And that was where Myles got down on one knee and asked Shayla to marry him. Of course Shayla said yes! And best of all? Myles’s little sister was hiding in the bushes nearby and caught it all on camera! How fun is that?
Zach and I are so looking forward to celebrating with these two at The Ritz Charles later this year. But in the meantime, sit back and enjoy their stunning Laurel Hall Engagement Session! We had so much fun and laughed our way all over this incredible venue! And then we headed to Fort Harrison State Park to keep the fun going!
