Carly and Will’s Romantic Wedding Day

Carly and Will’s wedding day was one we’ll never forget. Warm, late summer sun, genuine laughter, an ice cream truck and a couple ridiculously in love. What more could you ask for? Today I am thrilled to share Carly and Will’s Willows on Westfield wedding day!

The Details

As Carly began her day in hair and makeup, surrounded by her bridesmaids, I got to spend some quality time with her wedding details. Carly tied in her pink color palette beautifully! But my favorite detail? Her stunning blue ring which served as her “something blue.”

Carly and the Girls

Carly was surrounded some incredible women on her wedding day! Each one of these lovely ladies made sure that Carly had the absolute best day! One of my favorite moments was the reveal Carly shared with her bridesmaids. It was so cute! Having supportive women in your life is so important and Carly is certainly surrounded by them!

Will and the Guys

While Carly and her bridesmaids giggled in the cabin at The Willows, adding the finishing touches to their wedding day glam, Will and his groomsmen were getting ready across the venue. Let me just tell you, this groups of guys was so much fun! They told stories and laughed as they helped Will get ready. Will’s mom helped her son with the final touch of his wedding day look, his boutonnière.

As I mentioned above, Will and his guys were so fun to be around! So it made perfect sense for Will to share a reveal with his guys … just like the one that Carly shared with her girls. His groomsmen were totally committed to the idea and had so much fun with it. Because of this, I knew we were in for some fun for the rest of the day!

Carly and Will’s First Look

Soon it was time for Carly and Will to share their first look. I love when couples share first looks so I was so excited for this part of their wedding day. We found a secluded spot at the Willows so that the beautiful bride and groom should share a private moment together. There really is a special kind of magic to a first look and it makes my heart so very happy! If you are considering sharing a moment like this before your ceremony, I can’t recommend it enough!

Carly and Will

You’ve probably heard of high school sweethearts. But what about middle school sweethearts? That’s right, Carly and Will have been together since their preteen days! They’ve taken on so much together, from graduation to medical school and even adopting a sweet pup, these two have made a beautiful life together and their wedding was a wonderful representation of that.

The Bridal Party

When it was time for portraits with their bridal party, we all packed up and headed over to nearby Holliday Park. We had so much fun as we cheered for Carly and Will and celebrated their love on this very special day.

The Willows on Westfield Wedding

The Ceremony

Carly and Will’s Willows on Westfield wedding ceremony was absolutely beautiful. With the most incredible floral swag of soft pink roses and white dahlias by Woven Blooms adorning the white pergola and a cool breeze flowing through the gardens, everything was perfect for Carly and Will to say “I do.”

Sunset Portraits

As guests enjoyed a cocktail hour over looking the gorgeous lake at The Willows, Carly and Will stayed back for a few sunset portraits! In addition to the amazing light I loved that this sunset portrait session gave Carly and Will some time to just soak in the excitement of their newlywed status.

The Reception

The romantic touches of pink carried into the reception and throughout the lodge at the Willows on Westfield. Carly and Will spoiled their guests with a candy buffet and a photo booth by AMS Entertainment. These were the perfect touches to set the tone for their incredible party!

A Special Surprise

As the party got going, Will’s mom and step dad surprised Carly and Will with an ice cream truck! The room erupted with cheers as guests excitedly made their way outside for a sweet treat.
