Aria and JH are one of the sweetest couples we have ever met over here at AMP! So their summer Carmel engagement session was one of our favorites this year! We snagged a beautiful, sun soaked evening and had the best time exploring some of my favorite places in Carmel for engagement photos!

I stumbled upon the Japanese Gardens years ago during one of my very first sessions! It has been one of my favorites ever since! It has changed quite a bit since I first shot here. Nearby construction has left this pretty little park scarred and has taken out about 75% of the lush plant life that used to line the garden. But that didn’t slow us down! A less experienced eye might write this location off. But with some careful angles and some creativity, we found plenty of magic tucked away inside this Carmel hidden gem!

Carmel Engagement Session

After we enjoyed exploring the Japanese gardens, we headed to the Carmel’s Carter Green! This location was not only beautiful but meaningful too! After all, Aria and JH will be getting married next summer at Hotel Carmichael which is a focal point in this area! Congratulations, Aria and JH! We are counting down the days until your wedding day already!
