A Quick Visit to Old Town Scottsdale

One thing I love about the Phoenix area is how close together everything is. Phoenix, Mesa, Tempe and Scottsdale sort of all blend together. This makes it really easy to spend a couple of hours exploring any one of them. So when Zach and I found ourselves with a few extra hours following a sunrise engagement session, we decided to take a walk around Old Town Scottsdale!

Scottsdale is quickly becoming a top destination for bachelorette parties. In our short time there we saw several groups of gals out enjoying the gorgeous weather. But as we walked along the sidewalks, I saw the quiet side of Scottsdale. The serene gardens and sculptures. The Old Adobe Mission and the local shops. It was such a great way to spend time before heading north to Sedona.

If you’re visiting the Phoenix area anytime soon, be sure to stop in Old Town Scottsdale for some window shopping or pop in one of the adorable stores. My personal favorite was The Spice and Tea Exchange. Zach and I aren’t big fans of souvenirs but we LOVE bringing home spices from our trips. This way we can make meals inspired by our travels with seasoning from the places we visit!
