Before heading to King Dough for a pizza party, we spent some time with Francesca and Tim in the gardens for their Newfields engagement session, on film. As I have gotten to know these two I have noticed a beautiful friendship woven through their romance. There’s something so magnetic about it. They share this authentic connection that feels almost tangible. I knew I wanted to honor that in their engagement session in some way. Photographing them on film just felt right, so that is the only camera I took with me for the garden portion of their Indianapolis engagement session.

Francesca and Tim met while both working on the east coast and moved to Indianapolis recently. We knew we wanted to include a garden of some kind in their engagement session since their wedding will be in a garden outside of Chicago. So this made Newfields an easy decision. Additionally the Virginia B. Fairbanks Art & Nature Park nearby offered the perfect place to celebrate thier love of nature.

We had the best time with Francesca and Tim and this is only the beginning! Following this part of their session we headed to a local pizza place for a fun pizza party. Click here to check it out!
