Nina and Matt’s Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral wedding was positively stunning! Every detail was perfect and the setting was incredible. But the best part about this beautiful day? The smiles shared between Nina and Matt! These two are easily one of the sweetest couples we have had the honor of working with. So photographing their big day was an absolute joy, and I am thrilled to share here with you all!

Getting Ready

Nina and her bridesmaids got ready at Hotel Carmichael in Carmel. The ladies laughed and sang “going to the chapel” in between hair and makeup. And the ladies surprised Nina with a fun, custom wedding day gift box!

Matt and his groomsmen prepped for the day at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral, where the wedding would take place later that day. I loved that Matt opted for an emerald suit for his wedding day look. It was the perfect way to add his own personal style into the wedding day vibe!

Nina decided to wait to put her dress on until she arrived at the church, which made this part of the day extra special. With the help from her mom and sister, she added the finishing touches. Nina is always beautiful, inside and out, but she was absolutely stunning as a bride!

Following first looks with her bridesmaids and dad, Nina shared a first look with Matt as well. Because of this, they were able to relax and spend their wedding today together instead of apart. If you ask me, that is pure magic!

Nina and Matt’s ceremony was rooted in tradition. This was my first time experiencing this kind of ceremony and I was so impressed! And the church itself is a true work of art.

Bridal Party Portraits

Nina and Matt are the kind of people who you can’t help but want to be around. They are genuine, down to earth and have hearts of gold. So when it was time to take portraits with their bridal party, it was so wonderful to see them showered in the same kind of love that so easily give to everyone around them. We had a blast getting to know their friends, laughing with everyone and of course… taking plenty of photos!

The Reception

Finally it was time to head to the Biltwell for the reception! Guests enjoyed an adorable photobooth and the candle wedding favors that smelled like heaven!
