In my years as a wedding photographer, I have found that when it comes to bridal portraits, less is more. Consequently, I’ve found that a classic backdrop and good light is all you need to create magic. The timeless architecture of the Boathouse made selecting a location for these portraits effortless. Because of this, we had a dream location for these breathtaking bridal portraits of Alysha.
In addition to the incredible location for this New York City bridal portrait session, the florals tied it all together. Blomst Floral Design and Heather Benge events created the most stunning pastel concept. Alysha was ethereal in her gown from NYC wedding dress boutique, The One Bridal. Lastly, she indulged in an outfit change, slipping into a joyful yellow dress by Styled Gowns. What a fun way to add a pop of color into your wedding day!
We loved being able to spend this day capturing so much beauty in Brooklyn! From watching dogs splash around at the dog beach to the strolling along the calming lull water, exploring Prospect Park was incredible. Brooklyn really is a special place!
