Welcome

A NOTE ABOUT THIS GUIDE

First and foremost, I want to welcome you to the AM family! I am so excited to be your wedding photographer and I am truly looking forward to getting to know you as we count down the days until your wedding! To officially kick us off, I've created this guide to paint a picture of what working with us over the next days and weeks will look like! But as always, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to email me! We're in your corner all the way!

If you need to get in touch with me, the best way to contact me is via email! (I can't promise I will see a message on instagram or text so sticking to email is best) You can email me through your client portal (where you signed your agreement) or at: alison@alisonmaephotography.com

My office hours are Monday - Thursday 9:00am - 5:00pm. Closed Friday - Sunday for Events. Closed on Holidays.

Housekeeping

Making it Official

As soon as the agreement is signed and executed we will officially add your date to our calendar.
1-2 days after booking we will send over our vendor referral list so that you can connect with other wonderful wedding pros in our area.

Engagement Session Planning

1-3 weeks after booking - Now that you are officially booked we will be sending you a "Getting to Know You" questionnaire and Engagement Session Guide to help us get the ball rolling for your engagement photos.
4-5 weeks after booking - We'll look through your responses to the questionnaire and send over a suggested engagement session plan that is personalized to you and full of opportunities for meaningful and intentional moments. We'll set aside two dates on our calendar, (one main date and one rain alternate) apply for any photo permits required and send estimated session timing.
The week of your session we will confirm session details such as meeting location.
30 Days after your engagement session your gallery will be delivered to you via email

Wedding Photography Planning

9-6 months before your wedding we'll create a mood board and rough draft photo timeline together
8-10 Weeks out from your wedding we will review the timeline (or I can review it with your planner if you wish).
1 Month out we will schedule a final call, if necessary, to go over any details I need to know about the wedding day (including any surprises you’d like photographed).
The week of the wedding day and on wedding day we can be in text communication. Rest assured I’ll show up early to your wedding, and am willing to pick up anything you may need last minute.
The wedding day is captured in all its elegance, beauty, emotion, and love.

After the Wedding

24 Hours later you’ll have your sneak peek of some images.
60 Days following the wedding day your full gallery will be delivered.
At any time before or after the wedding, you can contact me to purchase an album if you’d like. Just send me an email and I’ll be glad to help!
