We weren't expecting to adopt another dog. Our searches for a rescue husky that would blend into our family had come up empty handed, so we we decided that we would be okay with that. . Well, little did I know that right about the time I had started to give up on finding our little lady the universe had other plans. In a little under a month, our Nova Grey will have been with us for a year! She is gentle, sweet and so cuddly! She loves to follow Willow around and her best friend is our tiny orange cat, Clementine. . She is the perfect little puzzle piece to our family and I am forever thankful that I get to give her a safe and loving home. . And that baby gate? Sometimes it's hard to put yourself out there when we live in a world of comparison. Where people can show whatever they want on social media but they aren't that person in real life. . It's confusing, right? It's especially challenging for this introvert who wears her heart on her sleeve and believes fully in being transparent.
