I couldn’t think of a better way to kick off the new year than by spending some time in sunny Florida! So I packed my bags and headed south for this gorgeous wedding editorial at Bella Collina in Orlando, Florida. The only catch? It wasn’t exactly sunny. That’s right, it rained the entire time I was there! But thanks to my home state of Indiana, rain on a wedding day doesn’t scare me in the slightest. So I put on my rain boots and set off to capture this thoughtfully curated editorial and I couldn’t be more thrilled with the results!
One of the biggest draws about visiting Bella Collina for me personally is the Italian inspiration found all over the venue. I spent some time in Italy in the fall and fell head over heels in love with the architecture, rolling tuscan countryside and rich history. So visiting Bella Collina was a nice way to sort of revisit my time in Italy without the long flight!
This editorial featured stunning florals and the team at Blue Grass Chic created inspiring designs with whimsical flair. Paired with the most gorgeous white arches, the perfect ceremony backdrop came to life! Real couple Ali and Noah (yes, just like the Notebook, how cute is that?) were a joy to photograph! Ali wore a romantic gown from Eleanor’s Bridal and Noah looked dashing in a blue suit. We had so much fun and I am so thankful that I was able to connect with this wonderful team for this editorial!
