Hayley and Tim’s Discovery Park Engagement Session

Hayley and Tim are cool. Like.. really really cool. Hayley is a nutritionist who creates the most beautiful and colorful dishes you’ve ever seen in your life! (Seriously go follow her on Instagram right now!) Tim is a video game aficionado who has a passion for style. He even had a custom suit made just for this session! Be still my heart!

Hayley and Tim opted for an engagement session on Puget Sound. For those of you who don’t know, visiting Puget Sound has been on my bucket list for well over half of my life so having the opportunity to not only see it but also work my magic there was phenomenal! Located on the west side of Seattle, Discovery Park was the perfect spot for Hayley and Tim’s engagement session. The chilly Puget Sound waves kiss the rocky beaches as sailboats speckle the horizon. It was perfect. We had so much fun exploring the beach and the moss covered rocks near the lighthouse while dogs played in the water nearby.

On our way out of the park, Hayley had a special request. She told me that when she was a little girl she had envisioned her engagement session in front of these old, yellow military barracks. Coincidentally, they were a matter of feet from where we were! Isn’t it amazing how things work out sometimes? We hopped out of the car and explored. We had a total blast with Hayley and Tim and laughed until our sides hurt!

After their session we walked the streets of Seattle, stopping in their local bar to meet some of their best friends. We ate dinner at Stout and sat and talked for the longest time while Hayley shared stories about how she casually hangs out with various stars from the Investigative Discovery channel. They even got Zach, the burger king himself, to try an impossible burger. And he liked it! Told you they were cool. We loved photographing Hayley and Tim, but we loved getting to know them even more.

Congratulations, you two!
