Emily and Tom’s romantic Coxhall Gardens engagement session was such a joy to photograph! I always love shooting here but once you add in a couple like these two, it was a dream! The sun was shining and Coxhall Gardens was showing off with the most beautiful light! It was the perfect day for an engagement session!
Emily looked amazing in a long emerald gown! It photographed beautifully, especially amongst the willow trees! (Click here to get your own! ) The willow trees are one of my favorite places for photos at Coxhall Gardens so if you are planning to take engagement photos here, get ready to visit the willows with me because I love them! I did name my dog Willow after all!
This sun soaked day at Coxhall Gardens was just a tad different from the day Tom proposed to Emily. When it came time to pop the question, Tom took Emily on a walk through Chicago on a chilly winter day. And somewhere along the shoreline, with the city covered in a blanket of snow, Tom asked Emily to be his wife! Emily of course said yes and now these two are planning their Indianapolis wedding at The Montage next year!
