I dialed her number and held my breath. The introvert in me squirmed a little as I prepared my paper and pen, ready to take notes. Before I knew it, two.. maybe three hours had gone by and I had hardly written a thing. From the first few minutes of the phone call, I knew immediately that Meghan was an extraordinary person and even if I didn’t get to be her wedding photographer, I wanted to be her friend.
Josh and Morgan both attended Ball State University – so it made perfect sense for them to have their wedding at the L.A. Pittenger Student Center on campus! And wow what a day it was!
They met by twist of fate. They both showed up late to rock climbing class while at IU (uhm.. coolest class ever!) and were partnered together by default. In rock climbing there is a phrase often used to ensure that your partner is safe and to let them know that you are there to support them. “On belay?” the climber will ask. “Belay on” the belayer will call. Total trust of your partner is required and together you work to help one another climb mountains.

The message from Ryan flashed across my phone screen as I hurriedly brushed my teeth in attempt to dash out the door – always on my way to .. well.. somewhere.
