Jackie and Jimmy’s fall wedding at The Cardinal Room was a dream come true! With a sentimental ceremony at St. Alphonsus in Zionsville and bridal party photos in downtown Indy, we spent the day celebrating these two all over Indianapolis! Because of this, we had the absolute best time with Jackie and Jimmy on their wedding day! But before I get into all of that, I want to share a little bit about Jackie and Jimmy’s love story!

Jackie and Jimmy

Jackie and Jimmy met by chance. Both out with friends for an evening up near Chicago, their respective groups met at a restaurant called RAM. Jackie was on a girls trip and Jimmy was out with friends from the Marines. But from that moment on, something special began to grow between Jackie and Jimmy. Before long the two started dating and spent hours on the phone. On their second anniversary, Jimmy took Jackie to walk along the canal in Indianapolis. It was there, somewhere along the busy sidewalks and gentle water, that Jimmy asked Jackie to be his wife.

Preparing for the Day

Faith is very important to Jackie and Jimmy, so it meant a lot to them that they be married in a Catholic church. But their reception was held at The Cardinal Room. The Cardinal room has the most lovely bridal suite which was the perfect place for Jackie to get ready for the day ahead. With the help from her best friend, she put on her dress and looked radiant! The lace detail on the bodice of the dress was so elegant and the skirt flowed like water. She was stunning!

Jimmy put his finishing touches on his wedding day look at the church, with the help of his parents and groomsmen. He looked sharp in his black suit and white bowtie!

The Ceremony

Jackie and Jimmy’s ceremony was held at St. Alphonsus in Zionsville. St. Alphonsus is a gorgeous church and was the perfect setting for a sentimental ceremony. Jackie added a special skirt to her wedding dress for this part of the day which added the perfect touch to her wedding day look!

Photos in Downtown Indianapolis

Jackie’s bridesmaids wore lovely pink dresses and the groomsmen looked great in all black. We spent some time photographing this awesome group in downtown Indianapolis and soaking in the sunshine. Jackie and Jimmy’s best friends were all so fun and cheered their friends on the entire time. What an awesome group! Once were were done with the bridal party, we took a walk down the canal, the same place where Jackie and Jimmy were engaged, and did a few photos with just the two of them before heading back to The Cardinal Room.

The Reception

Jackie and Jimmy’s Cardinal Room reception was wonderful! The weather was perfect! Because of this, guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the patio as the sun sank lower in the sky. Meanwhile, we finished up portraits in the golden rays of light near the golf course at the venue. Jackie and Jimmy cut their darling cake from Maxine’s on Green and then danced the night away with their friends and family! The dance floor was packed and everyone had an incredible time. What a day! Congratulations Jackie and Jimmy!
