Courtney and Isaiah met back in high school. She was on the cheerleading squad and he played football. Does it get any better than that? Yes, actually. It really does. Because in the years that they have been together, these two have faced a lot of ups and downs. A serious car accident, graduating a year apart and attending two different colleges. But that didn’t stop Courtney and Isaiah from pursuing one another and building a beautiful life together.
Isaiah’s family owns a stunning property just over the Ohio border. It was the perfect location for their engagement session! We spent our time together laughing and exploring the property. Courtney wore a breathtaking emerald gown that flowed in the wind that blew across the Ohio farmland. Isaiah looked dapper in a black suit. Talk about a beautiful couple!
This session was extra special because Courtney is my second cousin. So not only did I get to catch up with her, I got to get to know Isaiah a little bit too! What a I saw was this incredible young couple who are truly best friends. This year has been a big one for them. Isaiah is finishing school and Courtney started her first year in nursing. Plus, they are planning a wedding on top of that! But these two are balancing it all together.
I can’t wait to photograph their wedding in Fort Wayne this coming spring! Congratulations Courtney and Isaiah!
