Emily and Logan’s St. John the Evangelist Wedding was perfect from start to finish. Everywhere you looked you could see friends and family smiling and laughing. But that’s the thing about Emily and Logan, they’re the kind of people who you can’t help but be happy around. They are gracious and kind, hilarious and dedicated to their careers.. and their sweet pup, Zeke. ( He even joined us for their engagement session!) And the cherry on top? Their friends and family are just as incredible! By the end of the day, the AMP team felt like part of the family – smiling ear to ear as we celebrated this fantastic couple together.
We started the day with Emily and her girls as they got ready in an airbnb – which was awesome on so many levels! The Black Swan Beauty team was on site – glamming up the girls and having a great time while they were at it. Emily’s sweet mom and sister helped her get ready – buttoning her breathtaking Stella York dress and helping her ad the finishing touches to her bridal look. Emily had many “borrowed” gems on her wedding day, including a hair piece from Logan’s incredible sister and a purse from Logan’s great Aunt! And her something blue? The most stunning blue bridal heels you ever did see! (And of course, some sweet Kate Spade kicks for dancing later in the evening.)
Before heading to the church, Emily posed for some photos with her favorite ladies, including little Miss. Nora – the world’s cutest flower girl! Emily and her bridesmaids carried the most beautiful bouquets by Julie’s Flowers of Geist and rocked the most stunning magenta dresses! Logan got ready with his guys at a nearby hotel, gifting each of them with a beer stein personalized to their favorite things. Emily also had a special gift in store for her groom – personalized cufflinks with the paw prints of Logan’s favorite pups. How cool is that?
Emily and Logan’s St. John the Evangelist wedding ceremony was simply beautiful! The church is one of my favorite places in all of Indianapolis – you’ve just got to see it! After their stunning ceremony we took a spin around Indianapolis on the best looking trolley in town, courtesy of Premier Trolley Company! Next we headed to The Willows to dance the night away! The lodge was decorated beautifully complete with a stunning wedding cake by Cakes by Donna in the center of the room! There was even a special groom’s cake! There were nods to Emily and Logan’s love for breweries tucked in amongst the decor and beautiful purple blooms (thanks, Julie!) everywhere you could see. It was the perfect space for a party!
Congratulations to Emily and Logan! To the AMP team, you are family, and we could not be happier for you two!
A huge thank you to St. John the Evangelist and The Willows on Westfield for hosting us!
