As soon as we walked into the bridal suite on the morning of Abby and Sam’s wedding we were greeted by warm smiles and laughter. It was going to be a good day. Abby was surrounded by a wonderful tribe of ladies, each one excited to lend a helping hand as she transformed into a beautiful bride. Abby was all smiles and was absolutely glowing as she put on her Sincerity wedding dress. She radiated joy and happiness as we stepped outside to Monument Circle for portraits. She literally stopped traffic!
After making sure Abby was carefully tucked away in her suite, I made my way to where Sam was hanging out with his groomsmen. What a fun group of guys! Sam had carefully selected personalized cufflinks and socks for each groomsmen. One groomsmen even got Ramen socks – so fun! After Sam’s siblings helped him put the final touches on his wedding day look, we headed back outside for photos with the groomsmen! We had so much fun and may or may not have played on the Lime scooters that are all over Indianapolis. I had a blast with these guys!
Finally it was time for the ceremony. The Columbia Club is just stunning and lends itself beautifully to weddings. Gorgeous rays of sun pour in through the windows in the front of the building, bathing the ceremony space in golden light. If you look closely, you can see the Soldiers and Sailors Monument peaking between the windows. You truly are in the heart of Indianapolis and there is something so magical about that. As Abby made her way down the aisle, tears welled in Sam’s eyes and time stood still as he saw his bride. Abby grinned that thousand watt smile as her father proudly escorted her down the aisle to her husband to be. The ceremony was beautiful and everyone cheered as Abby and Sam shared their first kiss as husband and wife!
Following some family portraits (we had some big groups but rocked it! Abby + Sam have awesome families!) and some additional portraits on the circle with the bridal party, I was able to take some photos of just Abby and Sam. Sam simply beamed when he looked at Abby who looked like she had just popped out of a magazine! Despite being surrounded by the tons of people who were on the circle with us, Abby and Sam only had eyes for one another. It was such a beautiful thing!
After Abby and Sam’s portraits, it was time to party! Abby, Sam and guests alike were delighted by toasts given by Abby’s father and sister and Sam’s brother. Following a delicious dinner, Abby and Sam cut their cake and shared cupcakes with their guests. Next up were the first dances which did not disappoint! Abby and Sam both opted to do fun dances with their parents which really showed off who they are as humans, and I loved it! As the evening wore on, DJ Kara of The I Do Crew DJ’s (If you need a DJ, check her out! She is amazing!) kept the dance floor full and everyone had a blast!
Abby and Sam, your wedding was a dream! Thank you for welcoming the AMP team with such warmth – we adore you and wish you both the best as you start this next chapter in you life together. You are an incredible couple! Congratulations!
