On the morning of Morgan and Andy’s wedding there was a chill in the air. In fact, it was the first cool morning of the year – the perfect way to kick off their fall toned celebration!
Morgan was getting ready with her bridesmaids and the important ladies in her life as we arrived at St. Joseph Catholic Church while members of both families buzzed around the reception hall, adding the last minute touches. I loved seeing the two families come together to bring Morgan and Andy’s vision to life!
Before long, Andy arrived to start getting ready, cracking jokes the whole way down to the basement where the guys were hanging out. That’s Andy for ya, and I love it! As Andy’s parents helped him tie his tie and pin his boutonnière, Morgan was putting the final touches on her hair and makeup. After sharing some laughs with her incredible bridesmaids, it was time for Morgan to slip into her stunning Stella York dress! Her sweet mom, Michelle, helped her button each beautiful button and her maid of honor, Jennifer, helped her put on her light pink Badgley Mischka heels, which matched the moscato tones in her gown perfectly! Right before our eyes Morgan transformed into a truly stunning bride!
Before heading into the ceremony, Morgan shared a sweet first look with her dad. That’s when things really got real! The ceremony was a beautiful Catholic ceremony and the church itself was breathtaking! What a stunning space to become husband and wife! After family photos, we did some photos of Morgan and Andy with their bridal party! (shout out to Danna, one of my 2017 brides!) And then we headed to a nearby park for some photos of just the bride and groom. And you guys.. I can not get over what a stunning couple Morgan and Andy made! Literally every photo was so stunning. Plus these two are so fun to be around!
Finally it was time to party! Their reception details were so beautifully done! From the string lights over the wooden dance floor to the backdrop behind the head table and even the adorable popcorn bar – I was so excited about each detail! Following a delicious fried chicken dinner, Morgan and Andy cut their beautiful cake from Under the Sun Bakery and invited guests to enjoy a variety of different flavored cupcakes. Morgan and Andy also opted to play a super fun game with their guests! We ran to each table and took photos with each one all to the Mission Impossible tune. We didn’t quite make it before the end of the song, but it was such a fun way to grab photos with each guest! So clever!
The evening ended with a full and fun dance floor, lots of laughter and even a huge group photo of everyone who was still there at the end of the evening. What a fun crew!
Morgan and Andy, your wedding was as beautiful as it was fun. I know with out a doubt that you two will keep each other laughing through out your marriage — and keep the fridge full of Miller Lite, haha. We are all so happy for you and hope that you have a blast on your honeymoon cruise!
