Carlos and Taylor are an amazing couple! They met back in boarding school and became friends long before they started dating. But once they did – there was no looking back. From long distance to traveling thousands of miles to be together these two have a solid relationship that is rooted in friendship and centered around faith. It’s a beautiful thing! Another huge component to their love story is the love they share with their families. It could be seen all day long on their wedding day – and it was so sweet! Taylor’s family was hard at work at The Barn at Hawks Point when we arrived in the morning- creating Carlos and Taylor’s wedding day vision as a team. It was amazing! From the rose covered swing to the carefully decorated tables – even Taylor’s bouquet – they did such a great job making things so special. And they did it with a smile! Carlos also comes from an incredible family! I was so impressed by the amount of family members that traveled hundreds or even thousands of miles to come and celebrate with the happy couple. We took a big group photo of everyone and I couldn’t stop smiling – what a cool thing to see! Carlos and Taylor were even sure to celebrate Carlos’s father as it was his birthday! Everyone sang to him and cheered. Awesome!
Carlos and Taylor also have some amazing friends! During the ceremony the breeze was just a tad too strong and lighting the unity candle was tricky. The groomsmen all took it upon themselves to make a human wind break! And each of the bridesmaids were so kind and helpful all day! Plus Carlos and Taylor had so many friends attend the wedding. From a ceremony in two languages to one of the best sparkler exits ever – It was such a good day!
